Buskett Roadhouse was built on the site of an old hunting lodge from the era of Malta's Grand Masters.

It became one of Malta's most popular dining and entertainment venues, later hosting electronic music events through the 1990s and 2000s, including three Squadron festivals in 2007, 2008, and 2010.

The venue has since been rebranded as Chateau Buskett, now operating as an events and dining venue.
