Colin Dale was one of the UK’s earliest house and techno evangelists.
His Abstrakt Dance show ran weekly on Kiss FM from 1985 to 1999, before moving to Groovetech radio and returning to Kiss FM in 2003, when the original run came to an end.
Abstrakt Dance is widely regarded as one of the most influential radio shows in UK electronic music, helping introduce London to the sounds of Chicago and Detroit.
